Today we want to share with you the recipe for chinulille by @MonicaGelsomino
Ingredients :
For the dough
350 g of all-purpose flour
25 g of sugar
2 eggs
25 g of sunflower oil
50 g of white vermouth
1/2 packet of baking powder (8 g)
For the filling
A jar of Giodà extra bitter orange marmalade
A few walnut kernels
For the topping
1 egg
1 tablespoon of milk
Method:
On a pastry board, place the flour mixed with the baking powder, make a well in the center and add the eggs and sugar. Beat them lightly with a fork and start incorporating the flour from the sides, then gradually add the oil and vermouth while kneading. Knead vigorously for a few minutes; when the ingredients are well combined, form a dough ball, flour it on top and bottom, start flattening it with your hands and then with a rolling pin. Roll out a sheet about 2 mm thick. Cut out circles with a round cookie cutter or pastry cutter about 8/10 cm in diameter. At this point, place a teaspoon of Giodà extra orange marmalade and a bit of walnuts in the center. Slightly moisten the edges of the circle with your fingers and fold into a half-moon, pressing the edges together well with your fingers. Brush the top with the beaten egg and milk. Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. Chinulille ready and soon to be enjoyed!
